Moonlight Ridge- Conveniently located only minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway and close to the New River and downtown West Jefferson. Year round long range views.

Offering greatroom with comfortable sofa & chair, ROKU TV & DVD, and freestanding gas log fireplace. Sliding doors lead to the open deck facing the long range mountain vistas. Dining table for 4. Full kitchen with island. Including K-cup coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, range, fridge, bakeware, stoneware and cookware. Full bath with walk-in shower. Queen bed.

Outside enjoy the open deck with patio set, charcoal grill, and beautiful mountain views.

Other amenities include WIFI, K-Cup single serve maker, games, central heat & air, sheets & towels, gas log free standing fireplace, dishwasher.
No washer/dryer on site. Convenient to Blue Ridge Parkway, New River, downtown West Jefferson.

Pet friendly (small dogs) 2 dog maximum with prior notice.

Stay at an overlook
We enjoyed our stay. Felt extra safe with Boone police staying next door. His german shepherds left us and our pups alone so we were cool. Fireplace was nice in the evenings and star gazing was amazing. Close to great food and the parkway. Wish we brought blankets but otherwise wonderful property with nice kitchen and bath.

Anniversary trip
This property was perfect for our anniversary getaway. The property was cozy and the view was absolutely amazing. We had one super chilly night, but we cut on the fire place and watched some tv. In the mornings we had our coffee out on the porch and soaked in the Mountain View. The property was very clean and felt very welcoming. We plan on staying here again sometime.

Our stay at moonlight ridge
I have never stayed anywhere in my entire life where you are required to remove your own trash. The departure instructions in the confirmation email clearly states the following: 1)DO NOT leave trash bags outside that are not secured in a trash can with a closed lid (due to dogs or wild animals). We would anticipate a weekend guest to have 2-3 kitchen size bags. Should you have more left behind, please be kind and leave housekeeping a tip to assist you with this removal* This would lead you to believe they have trash cans on site. Nope, you need to take your trash to a “convenient” trash drop-off place just 9 miles away or take your trash home with you. That is 18 miles round trip in the opposite direction from my home. Also, since you’re required to pick up your dogs poop, you’re driving around with poop bags too! We left after 1 day. Large power lines outside with electromagnetic radiation, some mold on the outside of the structure and a 4-5 inch hole in the hardwood floor near the back door. I would never stay there again. TERRIBLE!

Perfect spot with a view!
We had a great time in this home. It was the perfect size for two. The updated bathroom and kitchen were a plus. The best part though was the deck. I appreciated the gate at the entrance making it a closed deck. My pup and I could sit out there together and she could be off leash at the same time..

Property needs upkeep, just a little TLC would make it great. The bathroom and Kitchen have been redone. Hedges were growing over the windows and trees over the deck with the great view. Home was clean.

The property was easy to find and access. We enjoyed how central it was to the sites we wanted to visit. The view off the back porch was amazing and we enjoyed sitting out there during the evenings. We would come back to this location again!

Dog friendly Quick weekend trip
Overall this property was perfect for our 2 night weekend trip with our dog. The house could use updating, and the perpetually squeaking floors had our pup on edge. The shower stall leaks from every corner, so we used the supplied towels to catch the leaks and dried off with the ones we brought. The yard was overgrown and the maintenance crew showed up while we were enjoying steaks on the deck. Again, overall perfect for our needs, but a little rough around the edges.

Nice cabin.
Overall a very nice set up. It is in need a of some attention to the upkeep. The wood swing broke when my wife sat on it, rotted support beam under the seat. The nails are popping up in the decking. Some termite damage near the sliding door suggests weakened floor boards in that area if not everywhere. Everything else seems great. The gas fireplace is fantastic. Overall a great get away, just needs more attention to be perfect.

Not what you think... at all!
You’d be dealing with a property management company that is incredibly dry and not customer oriented. The property needs work. The deck has nails that are sticking out from the wood! very dangerous, ! Your view is also to an electrical plant. Electricsl wires are always there! Towels and toilett paper are beyond deficient as much as the dirty BBQ. Not a very clean place. Wouldn’t return.

Clean property, nice deck
Overall this house was pretty good. View from the deck was a very nice place for a drink in the evening. No shade at all, so not usable during the heat of the day. House was clean. Good wifi. Kitchen amenities were very sparse. No tea towels. Minimal cleaning products. Had to bring your own paper products. Grill ran out of propane mid cook which was annoying and no spare. Also zero grill tools.
