"What a lovely place to spend a leisurely afternoon and evening. Dinner was spectacular and so reasonably priced. We took a couple walks and sat outside on our lovely patio area. One warning though -- do NOT leave your shoes or any clothing outside. We had a pair of drying socks and shoes and a bra munched on (one shoe was actually taken away to be found completely demolished the following morning) by the cute but wily Sicilian foxes living onsite! The renting neighbors had the same problem. Earplugs weren't enough. After several sleepless nights we reached out to the property manager. "Very pleasant stay in this B & B in a beautiful country setting - about 10 kilometers from Plazzolo Acredide, an interesting hill town that does not get much tourism. The B & B owner was very helpful in recommending things to see and places to eat. You need a car to get to this place, and it is not easy to find. Be sure to make a copy of the driving directions and bring them with you. No internet access. Good breakfast. This is a good place to stay if you want to get off the beaten track...

"KATASTROF. Vi har rest mycket under åren, men aldrig upplevt något liknande. Den bild Hotels.com visar, finns inte i verkligheten. Poolen var tömt och skulle fyllas först i mitten av juni. Hela poolområdet med omgivande park var uppgrävt. Nedfallna träd och grenar låg kvar runt poolen. Rummet var rent och fint. Frukosten bestod av en kopp fruktte med några skorpor med marmelad. Måndagen skulle dessutom restaurangen vara stängd, vilket skulle innebära att vi inte hade tillgång till kvällsmat !!!...

"Check in was a nightmare. Family was supposed to meet host at airport with a cot - but he was no where to be found. Directions to villa were very scattered but finally arrived met by housekeeper and shown around the villa. It was old and in need of some updating but very comfortable for our party of 10. Beds and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Pool was lovely although it was still warm enough to swim in the sea. All in all a wonderful holiday."
