"Given the lack of other accommodation available in Port Elliot, the rate is rather high for a Youth Hostel. Room was a bit stuffy and had to keep the window open and the fan going to get rid of the musty smell. Very small ensuite and shower."

"Property was clean and tidy. Room was small. Not much room for bags. King size bed was comfy, but way too big for the room with not much room to get around on one side. Not great if you have to get up during the night. Bathroom was clean but had a strong smell of sea water. Would not stay in this style of accommodation again. "

"The Shack was a great base for our weekend with a group of people staying elsewhere in Goolwa.Place was clean and all we needed. We were out both days and sorry we didn’t get to lounge around the property a bit more. Great affordable place to stay for a restful weekend. I really enjoyed talking to your uncle over the fence Sunday morning Nat. "
