Satisfactory, very handy for P. Garibaldi station.
I chose this hotel as I needed to be close to my departure railway station for my early train to Paris. Hotel quite adequate for a short stay. A little lacking in character. Very large bedroom. Excellent breakfast.

not a non smoking hotel
When I made my booking, I was guaranteed a non smoking room. When I arrived to the hotel, the room smelled like old and new cigarettes. I complained to the front desk and they said "you can smoke in our rooms, we don't separate". They sent a guy to change the drapes to clean ones. The cigarette smoke came through the bathroom ducts, so after taking a shower (which also was broken) instead of feeling fresh, I was bathed in cigarette smell. In summary I didn't get what I paid for, a non smoking room and the price of the hotel was very expensive for a run down old building.

Quick one-night stay en route from Pisa to France. If staying longer I'd stay elsewhere. Perfectly fine for one night.

Excellent location and service
Have stayed here more than once and have found the staff to be excellent. Most professional and always going out of their way to assist guests. A pleasure to stay.

Has seen better days
The property was let down by poor maintenance and service. Our room had a bathroom emitting foul odours probably from a choked drain. The staff were surprisingly reluctant to do anything about it. A request for an in-tub bathing seat too went unattended. The general condition of the hotel is showing age and the absence of a bedside phone is unusual. Better lighting in the rooms would help greatly.

Milano
Once We arrived we were told there was a water leak in the hotel so they set us up in their other Hotel ATA ExEcutive. The room was very nice & staff was helpful & accomodating. The bed & pillows were too hard for my taste so I did not get a good night sleep. Other than that the location was perfect for us & I had a good stay.

Great stay!
This is an excellent hotel. The room was huge with a kitchen, a separate dining area, a separate bedroom and a nice bathroom. It was much better than I had expected. There is a nice restaurant on the 11th floor with a panoramic view of the city. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Everything you could ask for in a hotel
Large rooms, 5 minute walk to Porta Garibaldi train station. Plethora of restaurants a block away. Breakfast was delicious. Staff extremely helpful. Security was tight (key card could only access your floor, not others). Worry free the whole time. Only downside was the cost, but only because it was booked the same day. My previous hotel over-booked, but the mother company Expedia.com took care of me and I only had to pay the local hotel tax in the end.

Good Location
The exterior looks a bit run-down, but don't let that put you off. The interiors are fine, but definitely clean. If you want something more cozy or with atmosphere, another hotel might be good to compare. The breakfast is nice in a good restaurant at the top of the hotel with a view of Milan. The exact location is not glamorous - on a side street - but around the corner are elegant shops and good restaurants of Corso Como. You can walk from Porta Garibaldi to the hotel with your luggage. Very convenient. At the time of booking, was a good price and value overall.

Night stay for train to airport next day
Stayed here for night because of location close to train station. Very friendly staff, nice big rooms, dessert at restaurant was good. Did not get breakfast because we left too early in morning. No Wifi which was expected but should be included. Great value for the money!

Italy's Best Kept Secret
The Ata Hotel in Milan is old world charm in today's modern world, at a most reasonable price. The hotel offers a large room with a kitchen sink and refrigerator, a TV with around the world channels, a clean and comfortable queen size bed, beautiful bed linens, two showers, bathing tub, huge sink, and the softest towels imaginable. The restaurant is decorated with beautiful white chair covers with white bows and the view is breathtaking, eleven stories high. Excellent food. I highly recommend this hotel for the traveler on a budget.

Pleasing hotel in a handy location
we chose this hotel off the Expedia site - as it is close to porta garibaldi ( the railway terminus for paris ) and near to the city centre. When you approach the hotel you somewhat fear the worst as it has a crumbling facade - you expect the interior may be similar. However much to our pleasuue we found that our room was very nice indeed. The outside reatuarnt area nearby ( not part of hotel ) also makes this a good location as well as the proximity to and connections to the big sites in Milan. Breakfast also very good All in all - this is not the most exciting place in Milan - but its a very good base - our room was very good and it is good value for money. We would definitely return

Short stay for conference
Unfortunately when I arrived to check in after a delayed flight I was told that due to hotel maintenance I had to transfer to the ATAhotel Executive, 10 minutes walk away. These things happen but it was frustrating as I was already late for an appointment! The ATA Executive hotel suited my needs. Both hotels are convenient for Garibaldi station for the Malpensa airport train and metro connections. The room was fine - big comfortable bed, clean and quiet despite facing the station and road. Good selection for breakfast. Just a pity I was not warned in advance about the change of hotel - worked out OK in the end.

May business trip
I have stayed at this hotel each time I am in Milan. It is close to train and metro stations for easy access to travel to work and around Milan. The hotel is also near a nice area to eat and shop. Great location as always the staff and hotel are friendly.

Atahotel the Big Good Choice for Milan
We were pleasantly surprised about the service and the room at this hotel. The rate was very reasonable so we were expecting a very basic hotel. However, it was more like a residence suite as it had a bedroom, separate living/desk area and then a separate kitchen area. The doors from both bedroom and living room opened out to a small patio. The location couldn't have been more perfect - we were able to walk with our luggage to and from the hotel to the Garibaldi train station in Milan. Also, the neighborhood was very lively and had lots of stores and restaurants available to us. It is a great, central place to stay in Milan. Also, service was excellent. We left early (6 am) for the train station and a nice food package was waiting for us at the front desk to take with us on the train. We did ask about missing breakfast and this was a great solution for us. Thanks for the great stay and excellent service!
