"We loved the European style of sharing a large breakfast table with guests at the property. Learning different cultures and about their home countries Home cooking, fresh baked, vineyards all around. The other guests were amazing people who assisted us with translations as needed. The property keepers were an amazing elderly couple who were kind, happy and loving. It is a small village with stone streets, narrow passages and just so much charm. "This is an old house, with some interesting history & furnishings. It is not a hotel, it’s a B&B, with 3-4 bedrooms and the owners live upstairs. The ( ensuite) bathrooms are very dated. The ( included) breakfasts are served at 9am, but the staff are very helpful and did provide breakfast earlier when we asked. The house overlooks Regua across the River, it’s only a 20-minute walk into that town which has a couple of good restaurants for dinner. The town of Lamego is further, about a 15-minute...
