"We booked our stay back in September. On 13th October we travelled 200 miles from Scotland, arriving at 8pm, to find it closed. It transpired that the hotel had gone out of business on 5th October. No one had thought to inform us, and cancel our booking! I spent an hour on the phone speaking to various people in America, employed by Hotels.com, assuming they would be able to help, perhaps by arranging alternative accommodation. "A fantastic find for our needs. The owner was exceptionally helpful. Central to the city. Great value for money. We had a great room. However a few things to make it better : 1- the oven/microwave didn’t work even after trying a few times. It needs a master in engineering to make it work. Maybe stick with 2 separate items. 2- Not ideal for light sleepers. Can sadly hear a lot through the walls. 3- although the apartment was clean. I am not too sure the hoover was done.
