Deceptive and incorrect description on Vrbo
This place was nothing like the description in Vrbo! You have to walk down a spiral staircase into a damp, musty basement attached to a workshop and garage. The smell of oil and gasoline is very strong in the kitchen area since the large workshop is directly behind the sliding door. In the bedroom and bathroom the smell of mold is overwhelming. We did not stay once did a walk through. So disappointed!

Great location. Close to beaches and Newport
The location was perfect and the apartment was clean. We did not realize it was a basement unit and as such, you could not see outside except through one small high window that the only thing to see was a plant. It was musty and uncomfortable. We actually moved to a hotel room for our second night, due to the lack of natural light and mustiness. The host was friendly and responsive. We did not reach out about our complaints as there really wasn't a way to correct the issues.

Great spot
Murray gave us a great spot to stay just outside of downtown Newport. Only a few minites drive to the harbor and shops. Our dog was welcomed with food and water bowls and the place was very clean and private. Ran into Murray briefly and had a good chat. Thank you for your hospitality Murray! Until next time 👋

Great stay in a great location!
We had a terrific stay at this property. The apartment had everything we needed and more! So spacious, plenty of room for us to spread out, and very nicely decorated. The king size bed was a treat for us! Nice touches throughout, such as plush robes, plenty of towels and pillows, soaps and bath products, hand sanitizer, air fryer and coffee maker for light meals. Very quiet neighborhood but close to all of our outings throughout our stay. We appreciated the early check in due to the stormy weather when we arrived. Murray was an excellent host!
