"We thought we would give a new place a try. Initially there was great communication but when we checked in and had an issue, there was no response. The smell hit us immediately, imagine stale smoke that has been around for too long. We tried to air it out but our eyes were watering. The sink looked dirty. We only stayed a few minutes and realized we would not make it through the evening. I respectfully requested a refund and have not had any response from the host. Such a disappointment. "

"I booked a basement of a house with separate entrance. On the day of my reservation I was told someone booked the whole house so I could not Use the basement. She gave me an “upgrade” the house where I stayed was nicer than what I booked however it was 20 minutes farther from where I wanted to be and I was sharing the house with other guests. This is the same story to all staying at the house."
