"This is an older property with some nice 1960s charm. I promise, it has been renovated. It’s clean and set back from the highway, among a few other hotels. I could walk to a convenience store. The office is up front in a separate building. They honored my request for a first floor room. As a woman traveling alone I felt safe here. Thank you"

"Our overall stay at the Norris State House was an exquisite visit. Location-wise, it was a bit of a struggle. The only way to get through was a sharp turn, and Google Maps didn't recognize it until you actually got on the road, so you need to make sure you look out for that. The décor, both outside and inside, was five stars—very attractive.The kitchen was very suitable for big parties, with duplicates of necessities like two stovetops, two fridges, and two microwaves. There was also a huge and spacious seating area near the kitchen, and the patio on that floor also had a 12-seater table and a couple of blue chairs in pairs. The view on all floors were beautiful, except for the fact that the river only flowed with a surplus of water.There were a couple of bedrooms as well, and every bedroom on every floor had an added bathroom as well as a general bathroom. The second floor had a huge TV and seating area, along with the bedrooms and bathrooms. The bunk beds, which were very close to the ceilings, had drawers under the bottom bunk with an extended bed you could pull out from the side of the drawers.The bottom floor was my personal favorite. There’s a game room that includes air hockey, a pool table, and a ping pong table that can be interchanged on top of the pool table. There is also a shuffleboard, a TV, and a seating area, as well as a small kitchen with a fridge, mini freezer, and an ice cube maker. There was a unique sliced-style table as a seating area. 4 stars"

"Elevator to upper floors was nice esp if you have lots of luggage or are unable to do stairs. Bed was very comfortable, hot water was hot and for a decent shower, room was very clean and updated. 2 places to eat-Mexican Food and Drive in that were easy to walk to. Continental breakfast was very accommodating. It was a very nice place to stay. Will definitely stay again if I am in the area. "

"Our multigenerational family had great stay at Seas the Day. Everyone had plenty of space, and the multiple refrigerators, dishwashers and ovens were especially helpful. The hosts were easy to communicate with and we were very happy that we chose to spend our Thanksgiving holiday at this location."

"We stay at a lot of VRBO's and AriBnB's and this was by far one of the nicest, cleanest, well stocked places we have ever been. They have thought of everything as the kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need. The pictures don't do justice. We went for Thanksgiving and also celebrated Christmas as well with our 6 kids and grandchildren. They went over and above and put up a Christmas tree for us so we could celebrate with our kids. The communication was excellent throughout the stay. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a beautiful home on the lake. We will be back for sure!! Thanks so much for allowing us to use your beautiful place. "
