"My wife and I had a wonderful week at this rustic and well appointed cottage in Upper Kingsburg. The place was clean, comfortable, and has a completely outfitted kitchen. Most importantly, the bed in the master bedroom slept well. The location is gorgeous. The sound of the surf on Hirtle's Beach was a constant companion. The hike around Gaff Point is a must. The scenery is fantastic and the trail is moderate with some sections crisscrossed by tree roots. Stay safely back from the eroding cliff...

"A beautiful well maintained and equipped little cottage in a very quiet location. All amenities were within easy walking distance as well as the Bay to Bay Trail. Great location for exploring the South Shore and beyond. We enjoyed our week at 25 Cherry Lane."

"Beautiful location, it's a little rrspite from the world, nestled among trees and a babbling brook. Something out of a fairytale. We enjoyed the space, the quiet (maybe a little too quiet... there's no TV), and the surroundings. Do yourself a favor and visit Rissers Beach, which is close by. Our only complaint was the bathroom sink... it's incredibly difficult to use. Otherwise, it's a great location. "

"We had a great stay from August 20-27. We chose this spot as it was close to family in the area and we wanted to be able to base ourselves close to them while also being within an hour or so of a lot of Halifax, Peggy's Cove, etc. The cottage was a great size, with lots of space for our family to relax and spread out. The kitchen was very well-appointed. The outdoor space was just wonderful - we enjoyed a campfire almost every night, and during the day the kids spent hours in the paddleboat...

"Upon booking we did not realize the cottage was off grid. However, the host was good about explaining how to manage the solar power and generator. We arrived at dusk and found it hard to navigate our way through the trees and multiple turns to get to the cottage. It is a unique location on a beautiful lake. "The home was beautiful and had all the comforts of home. The home is just a couple of miles outside Lunenburg proper, and it was easy enough to drive into town. It sits on a beautiful cove, and we got to see an abundance of different varieties of birds, including cormorants, loons and bald eagles.
