"Its situated just outside Oxford the nearest park and ride transportation was 20 minutes away. It was just by luck that i asked a local about getting into Oxford when we found out the nearest train station was only a couple of mile away in the lovely village of tackley. 1 stop away from Oxford only £10. Return for 2 adults straight into Oxford city centre. Within 10 minutes. Very clean hotel and great food ."

"We were staying overnight so as to be in the area. Friendly staff on arrival and departure and offered services of the restaurant although had already eaten. Had a drink in the bar again Friendly staff and good choice of wine. "

"The location was ideal for what we had come to the area for, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the portions of food for both lunch and dinner were far too much for the average person. On the down side, no breakfast. A chewy bar is not my ideal way to start the day and I would have much preferred a feather filled pillow"

"Lovely old in with lots of character. A good location with on site parking which is rare in that area. Lovely large room, well decorated and a large comfy bed with good pillows. There was also a sofa and wooden chest as a coffee table, very bright and pleasant. The only suggestion I could make would be a swivel bracket on the TV so your can watch it in bed. The bathroom was lovely, nice and large with good fittings and an enormous shower with toiletries provided. A very good breakfast was...
