Overall we had a good stay for 2 nights. Few touch ups in the rooms and they would be perfect. Outdoor seating covers could do with a little love and refresh. But overall we didn’t have any issues. Quiet room looking towards the pool.

Noisy. Could clearly hear traffic outside. Sounded like a giant was stomping around the room above us. Could hear someone snoring in the room next to us. Seriously debated not staying the second night.

The room smelled so strongly of cleaning materials that we couldn’t close the door for a while which felt uncomfortable in the area. The windows did not open. The noise from the street was so loud that it made it difficult to sleep. The lobby was locked for some time while we were waiting for our room to be ready so we were forced to sit outside under an awning while it was raining. I had to track down staff to show me to a locked and unmarked restroom outside. We won’t be staying here again.

Not for everyone, but cool area if you’re into retro and MCM architecture. Loved all the charming old hotels and their neon. Definitely seems to have a hip edge to the neighborhood. The night manager was fantastic and such a help. Also liked the pool and the way the rooms were tastefully updated.

Although the hotel had previously charged my credit card for 2 rooms separately on November 22. 2024, it charged the room price separately a second time. Although we showed that it was charged on November 22, 2024 on the credit card statement, she didn't check-in. The 2 rooms prices charged twice should be refunded.

Disappointing Experience at the New Yorker Miami. I recently stayed at the New Yorker Miami, and unfortunately, my experience was far from what I had hoped for. On the first day of my stay, I faced a significant issue: I found myself locked out of my room. Despite numerous attempts to reach the front desk and getting help, there was no one available to assist me. After waiting for what felt like an eternity, I had no choice but to rent another hotel for the night, which was incredibly frustrating and inconvenient. The lack of responsiveness from the staff left me feeling abandoned and disappointed. While the hotel had potential with its amenities and location, the service experience overshadowed any positives. I hope management addresses these issues, as they could greatly improve the overall guest experience. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this hotel based on my encounter.
