I rarely write reviews, but my recent experience at the Kimpton Anglers Hotel in Miami Beach was so utterly appalling that I feel compelled to warn other travelers. My stay was a masterclass in neglect, unprofessionalism, and downright disrespect toward guests.
From the moment I stepped into my room, I was confronted with a series of shocking oversights. Imagine arriving after a long day of travel only to find the toilet in a revolting state—there were unmistakable fecal streaks that made it clear no proper cleaning had taken place before my arrival. As if that wasn’t enough to make one lose faith in the establishment, the room itself bore disturbing evidence of neglect: visible blood splatters adorned the wall and carpet. The white furniture, which should have been a highlight of the modern decor, had discolored into an unsightly brown, and the once-pristine white walls were marred with scratches and inexplicable black marks, seemingly inflicted by careless luggage handling. It was a far cry from the inviting and hygienic accommodations promised.
The deplorable state of the room was only the beginning of my troubles. When I approached the front desk to express my concerns—a completely reasonable action given the conditions—I was met with a shocking display of indifference and irritation. The front desk staff not only appeared visibly frustrated by my complaints, but their dismissive attitude suggested that they believed my discomfort was my own fault. I was curtly informed
