VRBO shortcomings
In short I did not rent this place from owner, as far as I am concerned it was VRBO rental. That said given the size of fees I would expect some Quality Control which was not at all in evidence. For example not a single coffee cup was in house and 3 forks for a 4 bedroom house, come on. Later in trip we rented another property from your competitor which was less expensive and much better managed. You do the math about my return to VRBO.

Property was only partially renovated, yard was in disrepair, not as described and a not-disclosed tenant lived in a space attached to the house! We left ten minutes after we arrived! Very disappointing
