"The aim was to see some of Extremadura. The Cortijo was ideal. It was well situated to visit Cacares, Merida, Trujillo and Badajoz. The walk to the Castillo at Montachez was excellent if a bit steep in places. The house itself was spacious with lots of places to sit and a great pool. "

"Wir sind begeistert von haus, menschen und Umgebung. Pippa hat uns sehr freundlich empfanen und die Gespräche mit Manfred (ihr Mann) waren sehr interessant und unterhaltsam. das Haus ist einfach nur schön, traumhaft und extrem stilvoll eingerichtet. Gerne haben wir uns darin, aber auch auf den Terassen aufgehalten. Wir würden sofort wieder dahin gehen. "Juan Carlos’ house is a lovely property. Nicely modern, but with lots of historic features. The pool is fairly small, but great for us and our four children to plunge into to cool off in the 42 degree heat. Bedrooms were good sizes. Kitchen was not large, but was well equipped (a larger bin inside would be good). Would also be lovely in winter due to wood pellet burning stoves throughout. Village is fairly small, but some lovely restaurants and smaller bars. Cheap to eat out. No good...
