Neighborhood highlights:

Peaceful neighborhood with other cabins nearby, but spaced nicely apart. Pine & Cedar trees provide a beautiful mountain atmosphere. Typically very quiet, as there are many cabins that are frequently unoccupied. There is lots of room surrounding cabin front & back with plenty of room for kids to play in the snow. A nice place to relax after a day at Pinecrest. There is everything you need in the kitchen to prepare meals. Relax on the deck with your drinks & barbeque!

Cabin is close to Mi Wuk Market, Diamond Jim's Restaurant, sandwich shop, and more. Lyon's reservoir is just a 5 min drive up the highway. There are many interesting things to do in Gold Country. Visit Columbia State Park & go panning for gold. Pinecrest Lake offers lots of fun activities including swimming, kayaking, paddle boating, motorboating, and has an ice cream stand & movie night on Fridays. Visit downtown Sonora where you can shop for antiques & explore the old town. Yosemite National Park is approx 1 &1/2 hours away, depending on traffic conditions. Very nice grocery store in Twain Harte, which is approx 8 minutes down the highway. Twain Harte has great restaurants & miniature golfing, and is a wonderful town to visit.

Jamestown, CA, is a charming historic town nestled in the Sierra Nevada foothills, known for its rich Gold Rush history and quaint, Old West atmosphere. A visit here offers a glimpse into California’s past, with preserved 19th-century buildings, antique shops, and unique dining experiences along Main Street. The town’s main attraction is Railtown 1897 State Historic Park, where visitors can explore an authentic railroad roundhouse, ride on historic steam trains, and even see film locations for classic Western movies.

We are close to historic Colombia and Jamestown, Clover’s Apple Ranch, Twain Harte, Long Barn Ice Skating Rink, Dodge Ridge Ski Resort, Strawberry, Leland High Sierra Snowplay area, Black Oak Casino, Indigeny Reserve Cidery, Lyon’s Dam, Lyon’s Reservoir, Fraser Flats, Kennedy Meadows, Beardsley Lake, Pinecrest Lake, hiking trails and many other adventures.

Great time at the cabin!
Everything about our long weekend at the cabin was fantastic! It was super cute, clean, and well stocked when we arrived! Kendra and Kevin were such great and attentive hosts. I was a little confused on which how to enter the cabin and my code wasn’t working, so I called Kendra and she picked up immediately even being around 9:30pm!! She helped walk me through it (the error was on my end) and we got in! My family enjoyed the gaming system, the stocked pancake mix and popsicles, and not having to worry about shower toiletries, also being able to bring our small dog too!The only very small thing was the heater was pretty loud but didn’t bother us too much cause it worked so well and so fast! Thank you for letting us stay Kendra and Kevin! We would love to come back in the summer being so close to Pinterest and some good hiking spots!
