We particularly enjoyed the location - close to the main square/beach/restaurants etc, but also it felt very 'Italian', it is a very pretty and historic part of town. "This property was wonderful! Perfect location away from the touristy areas but easy to walk to the train station, city centre and harbour. La Spezia was a great little city. Far less crowded than staying in Cinque Terre and only 10 mins by train from the first village. The highlight of our stay here though was our host Renata. Spacious and well kept, the house is an architectural gem terraced into the landscape. Save for the rusty railings (please paint these!), the house is in good shape with manicured gardens, pathways, a great pool and shared access to the water.
