"Villa was good. Shower in one bedroom is a bit dangerous as it sprayed water on tile floor which was then very slippery. One of our group fell getting out of it. Bathrooms could use more light. washer and dryer unti were hard to figure out. Staff were very nice and helpful "

"We loved everything about our 4 week stay at this beautiful home. Amazing views, and a comfortable and well thought out floor plan that would suit a group of 6 - 8. Nicely finished interior with a modern aesthetic . That being said, I’m guessing the property is 20+ years old with original finishing, appliances, dishes, bedding, air conditioners, blinds and tile work. There is water damaged walls inside and out. This gem deserves a refresh! Sad to see the gorgeous pool with missing or poorly...

"The stay was good but with some remarks: - some fourniture is outdated (chairs in kitchen and sofa ouside are worn out) - very bad smell in the washing room - you need a car for visiting the city (more than 30 minutes of walk) all issues and problems were solved quickly by the support and service team - very good communication"

"This is a great place to stay. Super clean and very well-equipped. Just a short walk to the beach and there are some good restaurants nearby if you don't want to go into the old town. Also close to a large supermarket and theres a mini-market 5 mins walk away. The host is also very helpful and responsive to communications. Overall highly recommended!"

"We had a great stay at Janelo do Mar. The villa is in a great location near restaurants and a short drive to beautiful beaches. We had a few issues which Isabel did her best to sort out. One point I would raise is the lack of lighting by the BBQ area. We were only a family of 4 so could eat during the evening at the small table outside the villa overlooking the pool but we couldn’t see to BBQ! "A homely property in a quiet location within walking distance of some lovely coastal paths. The host was welcoming and keen to ensure that we had a comfortable stay. "

"Lovely villa with character. Large shared living space. Rooms large - twin on ground floor 2 en suite rooms one almost a mezzanine and one accessed through a separate door outside the building. We didn’t try the sauna or pool as it was February. "Vila Balaia is an oasis of tranquility. We were 2 families that spent 6/4 nights there in March, and the experience was outstanding. Claudia was very friendly and accommodating with our early check-in, she bought us some bread, milk and oranges as a welcome gift, which was very appreciated. "We had a fantastic time. The house is roomy, comfortable, and extremely well laid out. The fireplace gave us a beautiful chance to warm up in the evenings and review our days, while listening to a pair of Tawny Owls. Casa Milonga is very close to Praia da Marinha -- a stunning beach and breathtaking coastline. The long hike along the coast is stunning. And it was easy to drive to more distant places, both east and west. This is the perfect place for a relaxed vacation."

"we enjoyed our stay here in the spacious property . There was good facilities and fresh towels delivered mid week. However there was a rancid sewerage smell that was vile and impacted our stay. There was also ants in the kitchen."
