"An excellent hotel right in the middle of Holmfirth with the buses just seconds away. The staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you. There are breakfast options and I was able to mix and match my choices when needed. Excellent choice of evening meals and Sunday lunches at very reasonable prices. "Stayed for a couple of nights to use as a base for a trip to the area. Accommodation comfortable and met our requirements as a base. Hosts and staff very friendly and welcoming. Ate in the pub both nights…really good ‘pub grub’. Excellent breakfast. Pub has a nice atmosphere and would definitely stay again."

"Check out on the Hotels.com website says 12:00 noon check out but its 11:00 am, main carpets need cleaning and a little paint in the room wouldn't go a miss Toilet takes required to pump the flush. TV signal on and off. Would stay again even though a few minor points.also first time ever I've seen a insect trap in the room at the side of the Bed and I've travelled the world."
