"We had a lovely stay at Domaine de Rymska for one night. The property was beautiful and the meal we had at the restaurant was amazing. The staff were really welcoming, accomodating, and professional. The weather wasn't the greatest so we couldn't spend time outside, and there is nothing nearby, but if you are looking for a night or two to unwind with some good food and ambiance it's great! The only unfortunate thing was that we did not realize we'd have to pay extra even to enjoy the steam or sauna so there really wasn't much to do once there."

"Charming Gite in the quaint little village of Nolay. In the heart of wine country with beautiful scenery everywhere! We were fortunate enough to be there during the wine harvest season! Too much wine…. In too short of time!!! Our host Pierre was just wonderful, very informative, helpful and we wish we could have spent more time with him! This Gite has been well appointed and beautifully decorated! The only bathroom is off the master bedroom. It was a wonderful stay and we would love to comeback! We would highly recommend this Gite!"

"We were driving from Bordeaux to Frankfurt and chose this hotel from Expedia’s site on a Friday because it had onsite parking and a restaurant. After checking in the receptionist told us (a) the hotel’s parking area was not safe so we should not leave any bags in the car and (b) the restaurant was closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday ! We couldn’t get a refund but we found another hotel a few kms away with a secure parking lot and two restaurants, so we relocated. "

"We were put into hotel de la gare (sister hotel next door)as it was better for limited mobility guests. The room and bathroom were perfect, being on the ground floor and with all the amenities needed. Breakfast was good quality and reasonably priced. The restaurant had a limited menu but was OK"

"The garden was particularly lovely. We enjoyed bbqs whilst listening to the birds. It was nice to be able to walk into the charming village to buy fresh bread, fresh meat and fish and great wine. The gite was well equipped and provided an excellent base to explore the Burgundy vineyards."

"Made the reservation for my wife as she was driving across France and wasn't sure when she would need to sleep. I wasn't able to confirm any details by calling the property because of a language barrier but that didn't bother me because my wife is French and speaks natively. The demeanor of the lady checking my wife in was beyond a Parisian cold. Given what my wife has explained she was just rude. And my wife is someone who never likes to complain about customer service. The coup de gras was her being asked to pay the next morning after I had already paid. My wife thought I had paid on the website but she is not confrontational. Overall, there is another hotel chain in France that shares the name of a bird. I would highly recommend you go there. For the same price you will receive the same accomodations but with kinder service. But I must admit there was a lady the next day that we spoke to, Julie, who was very kind. Yet, I will never reserve another room there. In case the staff would like to reply and say this has to do with the restaurant being closed on Sunday, it does not. While we were surprised that it was closed we were prepared and I found my wife a place close by she could stop for a takeaway salad before she arrived at the hotel. Yet I do wonder how your guests eat on a Sunday. If it is as ridiculous as your scoff implied then all restaurants must be closed on Sunday and of course they aren't. Train your people to have some manners. Teach them, no customers, no job"
