"This is a small, quaint property that is superbly maintained. I can't recall having a better experience with any service staff I've encountered. Given the sea mist that typically covers these types of properties, one would expect some moist outside furniture, but rest assured HB's staff was on the spot making sure that wasn't the case. The breakfast buffet was huge and the food was outstanding. Suffice it to say, this is a superb property, and one that can be enjoyed without having to take out a mortgage to pay for it. Five stars!"

"This hotel/resort is a gem. I would consider this a 5 star resort. The bungalow we stayed in was modern, clean and spacious. Some bungalows had private pools. Incredible value! The pool was gigantic and well maintained. The free buffet breakfast was incredible. Staff were super friendly. Tennis courts and playgrounds for children were top notch. The hotel is located right on a beautiful beach with chairs and umbrellas provided. Bus to old town located in front of hotel for $1.20 euros. Taxis were inexpensive, $6-7 euros. My favourite place in Greece to stay. It has everything! We didn’t want to leave. Kalamata is a great, safe and super friendly city to visit and restaurants are the best. Incredible value. "I could write many paragraphs on the Romanos but I will stick to the highlights. It is a very good hotel - perhaps not quite exceptional, but very good in many areas. Combined with the Westin it is large - we went late October which was perhaps fractionally late for sunbathing (though it was about 25 degrees between 11-4 so good for lying by the pool or on the beach) - but perfect golfing temperature. The golf is excellent, the tennis set-up is disappointing despite the number of courts. Private lessons are absurdly expensive and they have not managed to create a 'Club' feel at the tennis by organising age group or ability clinics which are so important for kids to make new friends. The dining options are very good and the food is of a high standard (although quite a few restaurants were closed by late Oct which was disappointing). The place is crazy expensive - €5 for one Karaoke song or €50 for an hour's padel is not going to encourage people to try it with their kids. The buggy system if you have U18s is tiresome - you have to have a buggy but cannot drive it if you are U18 so if 2 kids play you have to have 2 adults driving the buggies (and they charge you for the extra buggy that you do no "

"Literally right next to road going through this small town ( if road noise bothers you). Nice lobby with restaurants literally behind it and market across street. Inexpensive stay for nights sleep on the road exploring. Host didn’t even ask for my Id just Gave me the key! Later he was not at the desk but found him sitting at the restaurant out back and was my host there too. Large bathroom was nice. Fridge in room and tea provided "
