Close to many other lovely Renaissance castles, romantic little towns and- of course - the Loire. "The property met our needs, but there were some things that could have been better. On the upside, because we had young children along, the pool was a bonus. The donkeys, goats, chickens, and roosters were enchanting. On the downside, if someone wants to be close to the surrounding cities (Tours/Amboise) with pubs and restaurants, this is not the place. Also, the place needs some TLC and a good scrubbing."

Emmanuel and Virginie were extremely welcoming when we arrived at their holiday home even giving us home grown courgettes, tomatoes and potatoes - all delicious. The property is made up of 3 houses (4 bed, 2 bed and another 4 bed) all within the same grounds along with a fantastic swimming pool, barbecue area, tennis court, pétanque pitch and huge grassed area.
