Appealed to owner who agreed to reduce but still had to leave a large amount in cash. Owner pointed out it was in his conditions. This is not communicated in the booking and I eventually I found it hidden, in French, in a sub menu, under House Rules, on the UK website. On departure we had to get to...

"Location très propre, très bien situé et dans résidence très calme. Très bon accueil et très bonne communication avec la propriétaire. "

"Literie désastreuse, poils de chien éparpillés dans les pièces, aspirateur qui ne fonctionne pas, four inexistant (pourtant inscrit dans le contrat), micro-onde rouillé à l'intérieur, tableau électrique non conforme, vidange douche bouchée, éclaboussures séchées sur les murs et les portes, mobilier usager et mal agencé... c'est inadmissible !!"

Schöner Strand ist noch zu Fuß erreichbar. Schöne Zimmer, geräumig. Sehr freundliche Vermieterin, sehr flexible Concierge (Ankunft 23:00 Uhr kein Problem, kurzfristige Abreise 7:30 Uhr ebenfalls nicht). Gerne wieder!"
