"It was a really bad experience! The owner of the hotel is rude and aggressive. We were charged for the breakfast even though it was included. Staff cannot speak English which makes communication difficult. However, the owner is the worst and rudest of them all. We wanted to spend the afternoon on the hotel facilities after having checked out. We were nearly screamed at that we have to leave the property as we have already checked out. "We had an amazing 2-night stay at Kam Kam camps. We were welcomed graciously with tea and treats (as is typical in Morocco). The camp grounds were beautiful. "We stayed at this hotel one night. The property itself is beautiful. The rooms are very nice. Pool area is big and clean. The woman at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The other staff seemed sad and unhappy. Not as friendly as we’ve experienced at other facilities in Marrakech and Fes. Dinner was very good. Breakfast was very light... no fruits was disappointing. I would stay at this property again."

"We loved the Desert Lodge, both for our stay and for the excellent cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner! We found the service to be excellent, and plenty of activities to keep you busy, including complimentary camel rides for sunset and sunrise. The opportunity to relax in the soft sand dunes of the Sahara was amazing! The tents are comfortable, clean and well decorated, we had an excellent stay at Merzouga Luxury Desert Lodge!"
