"The apartment was lovely with gorgeous views of the valley and a nice balcony. The dimensions of the rooms were perfect and well laid out. Our host Gudrun was very kind and laid back in a positive way. We were late arriving due to train delays and perhaps a bit frazzled and it was so nice to interact with someone cheerful and relaxed. "The property was fit for purpose. We used it just to have a place to sleep and visit Freiburg and surroundings. The hotel is clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The room was very small for 2 people and their luggage (2 had fairly sizeable suitcases, since we were spending 3 weeks in Europe)."

"The apartment is very nice, with a great location in rural black forest. We had a wonderful couple of days exploring at the end of our holiday."

"The cottage was charming and clean and faced a lovely view. There is a walking trail just out front and it was quiet and peaceful. We ate breakfast on the outside patio every morning. It’s close to amenities and we will definitely return. Highly recommend!"

Perfect location

"The hotel is in the perfect location - near to the train station and the city centre. Our room was a good size, bed was comfy, and there was a kettle for making tea and coffee, which was great. The only downside to our trip was the swimming pool and sauna were closed for renovations...and we had booked the hotel especially to use those facilities. "
