"We loved the property, it had all the basics we required. The only down side was that access is via an alleyway which was difficult to navigate (and find) with suitcases and young children. The local area around the gite was great and this would suit couples or adults without children "

"We really enjoyed our time @ this tiny home: it was cozy and very well decorated! You really feel like you're the only one in the world with all the space around you. The garden and surroundings are amazing and very spacious. The fact that the house has no electricity was a little bit of a surprise (found that out via another posting), but there is a battery available and we made it work! All in all: we enjoyed our time there a lot!"

In the heatwave we managed to keep cool enough by arranging air to come in through open windows, but keeping shutters almost closed. There is no air con and there are no electric fans.The bedrooms are big enough and the beds comfortable. There is plenty of space to park. There is plenty of dining space inside and out. "Just returned from a wonderful weeks stay at La P'tite Maison. Catherine and Didier were fabulous hosts, very friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. We had the surprise of a bottle of cider, 4 home made macaroons and a jar of homemade jam to greet us, all very yummy. The accommodation was spotless and everything was provided to make our stay enjoyable. Parking was easy behind a locked gate and there was a garden with outside furniture and swing. Caen and the D Day landing...

"The cottage is situated in a lovely location with countryside views and is in easy reach of the village either by car or as we did by walking. Charlotte is so nice and welcoming (as were the family), that we felt at home staying here. Everything is provided for your needs so only have to buy food. "The house is set at the end of a very rural drive through the French countryside. Whilst VERY rustic, it has all the amenities you would expect, but is a compromise between a pretty old building and modern refurbishment. Perhaps not for everyone, but we loved it.
