"I love the place, really! But the staff and breakfast was disappointing. I wanted to have a Cappuccino and she told me that she was alone and the other will come at 10 am. But she has time to play with her mobile phone all the time. Well, it was breakfast time. Suppose to have Tea and any kind of coffee ready during the time. But the property is awesome. Quite and antique."

"Nice , comfortable, room in a great location. Great value, without its bells and whistles that you normally found in a hotel. Rooms is rather small bits comfortable with great bedding and mattresses. Lobby hotel has coffee and hot water option. I stayed at second floor, it’s quiet, perfect place to crash and I will not recommending it for a long stay. You got what you paid for. I will be back "

"The property Towels were hard and dirty, The room had small roaches which is what it is your in a jungle ! Mosquito’s the worst was the outdoor light never turned of it was like sleeping with sonar lights on it seemed like it was morning but it was midnight, Turn off the lights outside OFF, C’mon you get what you pay for- Update your jogolo’s ac made weird noises at night, But the interesting thing was you could get Netflix Welcome to Borabodur "

"Gopalan has a lovely location with views out over rice fields. The rooms are clean and well-appointed, but there were small gaps between walls and door frames/ windows whicj some might find disconcerting - rustic charm is more accurate. There's a bit of a water shortage in the area at the moment, though I dont think the locals want to mention it but we had to contact reception twice to let them know we had no water. "They made a few mistakes in the beginning with my room but they made up for them with extra excelent service, shout out to Mr Yanto and mba Belinda at Kayu Manis restaurant and all the staff at the restaurant for treating me and my Mom with smile, kindness and professionalism. Will definitely come back and recommend to friends and family. Keep the good work 🙏"

Pleasant oasis in a busy city

"We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, especially the pool area. The breakfast buffet was very good with fresh fruit, and egg station and plenty of Asian food options. There are 3 restaurants to choose from, Chinese, Italian and the main restaurant. Dinners were a little below expectations m, we did enjoy the Chinese restaurant but the pizza in the Italian restaurant was quite good. I ordered the chicken breast in the main and was served a chicken leg that was definitely reheated. The hotel is an older hotel but the room was well maintained and comfortable. We slept well. The pool was the main reason we chose the hotel and it was great to cool down after a long day of sightseeing. Towels are provided and you can order drinks and snacks poolside. Some of the planting is a bit sparse and could use a refresh but overall it is a pleasant place to relax. There is an onsite tour office that can organize your airport transportation and sightseeing, but be prepared to pay a premium. We used grab to get around and found it efficient and very reasonably priced."

"Nice and modern room that is also super spacey. The breakfast selection is great and the club menus are decent too. Staff are very helpful. 10 seconds sheltered walk to the big mall with plenty of f&b options. But the traffic around the hotel is often quite congested "
