The Lazy Buck is a beautiful, log cabin directly on ATV and UTV trail system. And plenty of living space to enjoy.

The cabin is surrounded by pine trees and large wrap-around deck with view of Buckhorn Lake, a quiet, no-wake lake. The 2,200-foot cabin sleeps 12 and has two full baths. The amenities of home including dishwasher, microwave, wine fridge, Tv and DVD player, oversized bathtub with jets, heat, and air conditioning, and washer and dryer. NEWLY UPDATES THROUH OUT THE CABIN. Lots of room for groups or family gatherings.
The perfect place to get reacquainted with family, friends, nature. So grab some floats and tubes and jump into nearby lakes, sunbathe, read on the deck, play music and board games . Create a great meal and enjoy one another, relax by the fire pit and roast some marshmallows.

We also have a high chair, booster seat, a pack and play and gate for the stairway, for your convenience. There is also a children’s section that has books, crafts, coloring books and crayons, games and children’s movies, small desk and chair for children to be creative and entertained.

There is also sandy beaches and great swimming at Lake Arbutus, one mile away and Wazee Lake about 15 minutes away. Visit Black River Falls with shopping and restaurants.

Located one mile from Hatfield, Wisconsin and 11 miles from Black River Falls, Wisconsin, the area looks like the “North Woods,” just closer! The cabin is approximately 2 1/2 hrs. from Minneapolis and Saint Paul, 3 hrs. from Milwaukee, 4 1/2 hrs. from Chicago, 2 hrs. from Madison, 1 hour and 15 minutes from the Dells. One mile away is Lake Arbutus, an 839-acre lake with boat ramps, picnic areas, beaches and playgrounds. Discover treasures at the local Flea Market/Craft Show or play at the Ho Chunk Casino. Great bars and restaurants.

Buckhorn Lake is across the road and is connected to a canal, linked to other lakes and the Black River. You can canoe, kayak, fish, bike (we have a canoe, two kayaks with paddles and life jackets at no extra cost.)

There is 3-night minimum night stay.

Requirements are that you are courteous to everyone in the neighborhood and respect quite time at night. It’s a beautiful neighborhood and we want to respect everyone living there.

Very will maintain. Never had place that had stock with bathroom supplies that you might need if you forgot to pack (cotton balls, q tips, razors, deodorant, nail clippers, shampoo conditioner etc). Will definitely go back.

Great place!
Our group of 7 adults stayed for a long weekend. We had 3 couples/1 single and it was great to have private space for everyone. It’s a beautiful cabin and was the perfect location to bars/restaurants and the SxS trails! Very happy with our stay and would recommend!

Perfect getaway
This property is beautiful and has all the amenities that you. The 2 full bathrooms were nice and had anything you might have forgotten. Each room has its own air conditioners to control your own temperature in the bedroom. Parking held 3 pickups with trailers, 3 SXS, 2 ATVs and still had room. Very well taken care of property. We will definitely be back!

Another great weekend!!
This was our 2nd stay in this cabin. Hostess with the mostest! Plenty of towels and linens. Greatly appreciated the extra toiletries (kid forgot a toothbrush). Also, we love that the fire ring was moved and landscaped. Woudl highly recommended this cabin to others. Sadly, someone booked for next year, so we have to find another.

We had 2 families share this cabin while on vacation. The cabin is large and the multiple levels gives everyone their own space. There were lots of extras and the host thought of everything. It is close to the SXS trails, which is why we were there and also just a few minutes from town while on a quiet dead end road. We all really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cabin.

Family vacation
Spacious, clean property with a large backyard. Jacuzzi tub, large outdoor deck and coffee bar are awesome. Extra little toiletries which really came in handy and we were very thankful for. Plenty of towels and linens. Only minor annoyance was not enough room for garbage. We were even burning what we could. We will be back again.

Summer 2023 vacation
This cabin is amazing. Plenty room spread out. Kitchen well stocked with all cooking needs. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. They even had some travel sized extras if forgot something. Beds were very comfortable. The road in front house is very kid friendly. The lake was perfect. We all enjoyed the kayaks and canoe. We hope to return. Thank you guys for being such great hosts always quick to answer any questions.

Family getaway
Amazing vacation with my son and his family. We swam, fished and explored Buckhorn Lake, Lake Arbutus and Wazee Lake. Toured Black River Falls and went to the Alma Center Strawberry festival. Took a day trip to Wisconsin Dells and had a wonderful time. The cabin had everything we needed but a hair dryer. I would highly recommend this place.

Very nice location and home was just as the pictures showed. Very comfortable with plenty of room. Only complaint was the deck had several spots that needed repaired. Boards were curled in spots and very easy to trip on.

This was a great property to stay at! ATV trails are easily accessible from here. It had everything we needed for a great stay. We had 5 couples in our group so we used the double futon in the downstairs living room as a bed for the 5th couple. as opposed to 2 couples in the loft. .
