We have stayed here 3 times and it is always clean, stocked and ready to enjoy. Lots of indoor activities for rainy days and tons of outdoor equipment to use. The washer and dryer saved the day.
We loved our 3 night stay at this beautiful cabin. There is plenty of space and has all the amenities (except for towels). Our kids were able to swim by the dock and the host supplied several water toys like tubes, water squirts, and they had 2 kayaks. This was our favorite cabin rental so far!
This property is truly too good to be true. Whatever was listed in the description is completely accurate. My family was very happy with our stay. Sure wish we could give it a better than 5 star rating. Thank you
This is a beautiful cabin. Very clean. Stocked with everything referenced. Nice deck for meals and relaxation. Caught a lot of fish right off the dock (did not keep), but lots of fun for grandpa and the grandkids! Highly recommend this stay!!
This cabin was perfect for us. It was right on the water, but not too busy with boat traffic. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for kids and adults to spread out. A nice feature was that firewood was provided. Shaded with trees, it was comfortable all day long. Everyone had a great time. Thank you.
This is a wonderful cabin with all the amenities. Very spacious and well appointed. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. We especially enjoyed finding home-made chocolate chip cookies on the porch after a long day of hunting. I highly recommend the owner and property for a great stay.
The cabin was gorgeous, spacious, and cozy. Beautiful views, fully stocked kitchen, kayaks, canoe, John boat, life jackets, fishing poles, and inflatables for the kids to play on in the water! It was a perfect place for us to play in the water, explore around the lake in kayaks, and good fishing. We had a campfire and smores every night and also enjoyed the shuffleboard game in the basement. There were also tvs and movies provided that our kids enjoyed late into the evenings as well. We had an amazing and relaxing three night stay.
This was a beautiful place for a little family summer getaway! Super clean place, comfy beds, well
Equipped kitchen and gorgeous deck with a porch swing to enjoy the view! We loved kayaking, swimming and fishing in this no wake area and we also enjoyed an evening fire and playing shuffle board! Host was super friendly and responsive to our questions before we arrived. Clear instructions in the cabin for everything we needed. Highly recommend this beautiful place!
Group of friend got together for a weekend on Arbutus. The lodging was great and the pictures on this site don’t do it justice. Would recommend for family’s and friends to relax. Owner is great to work with!
We had a great time. The cabin and location are beautiful. Took our grandsons to Hoffman Aquatic (waterslides) and Wazee Lake to swim. Canoe and lots of extras at cabin made for a great time for the kids ages 6 and 14.
I gave my accuracy of the online listing 4/5 stars because it is WAY better than what is portrayed in the photos. Shuffle board downstairs, super nice camp chairs for outside, floaties, and small touches (like bug spray and sunscreen) that made the difference between average and a really nice rental. The kitchen has everything you need - my daughter even baked homemade sourdough bread in their convection oven.
I gave the location a 4/5 stars as there is a campground directly across the channel and can get a bit loud on Saturdays. However, keeping in mind that everyone is just happy to be vacationing, we enjoyed their music and even sang along. The rest of the week was super quiet and peaceful. If you are paddling, the hosts have two kayaks and a canoe (needs a lighter back paddle - btw) that they were very generous to let us borrow. Just a reminder not to go out on the lake during prime boating time (10-5) as the jet skies and boats can be annoying. There are numerous canoe landings for the Black River within a 30 mile radius which makes this rental a perfect home base.
