"We found this place by chance and were glad we did. It was lovely! Our room was very spacious and there was a common kitchen for cooking which we took advantage of as there was a grocery store close by (short drive but would have been walkable). Lots of character. The couch in our bedroom was a bit shabby but we spent our time downstairs visiting with other guest and the manager. "

"Check in was easy. Some sloped ceilings were pointed out. Bathroom in jr. suite was the best we encountered of 3 stays in Denmark. Suite was roomy and comfortable. Enjoyed dinner at restaurant one night and drinks another. Food was excellent and portions were large. Only one vegetarian option or we would have dined there second night. Breakfast was a treat. View was lovely. Host made the stay. "

"We were looking for a hotel close to Mons Klint and this fit the bill. Just a 15 min drive from Mons Klint and close to grocery stores and restaurants. Rooms were a good size, clean and quiet. Included breakfast was very good. Staff was very nice and helpful. Views from the room were of the golf course which was very beautiful and quiet. "

"This is a beautiful older hotel. Because of the age some of the rooms were very small. The bed was either up against the wall or had a steep slope to the ceiling over one side of the bed. I requested a standard room and was told the all standard rooms had such challenges. I could pay more for a better room. When we checked out I asked and was told then did have other standard rooms that did not have those difficulties but they were not available for 3rd party booking such as Expedia. "

"The lodging was fine. But we had a situation upon arrival that was a bit uncomfortable as no one was available to receive us. Hence, this is more of a criticism of the platform hotels.com because we received an email that said the booking is confirmed and only much further down the email in small print did it notify that we needed to contact the property 24 hours in advance to make arrangements for access to property. Further down the line, it indicated only a phone number for special requests. The criticism is of the platform itself hotels.com that does not provide a vehicle for the property to be in touch with the guest for sharing details to access the property. No email was received from the property (unlike on other bookings) and only by chance were we able to reach the property owner. "
