"We found the property was in an amazing position a short walk from a delightful beach BUT it was in need of renovation and very run down. The cooker was not working properly and was badly in need of a thorough clean..or preferably replacement, and the cutlery was inadequate. All the frying pans were nonstick and scratched so that we could bit use them. The showers were in e sorry state with dirty grouting and very dirty shower curtains. "The gite is in a great location, a short walk from Doelan, which is a picturesque small port on a small river estuary. The host, Jacques, was very welcoming and friendly. We had some lovely conversations with him. He is a real gentleman. He showed us where the local hidden beaches were located, and advised on coastal walking nearby. Would very much recommend this property. It is great value for money."
