"My family stayed at this house to attend a wedding nearby. The location was serene. The property itself is poorly maintained, with trash and tools strewn about the yard. The horses in adjacent pasture showed physical signs of neglect (one had a festering wound behind the ear, from a bridle that was ill fitted, put on wrong, and clearly left on the animal for far too long). "First and foremost we enjoyed a fine stay! The cottage was charming and proved to be a great base from which to explore. Top-notch location - quiet but literally just a 5 minute stroll into historic downtown and the fabulous shops, hospitality and frequent festivals. Technically it's a 3 bedroom property but may work best as a 2 double bed with a useful office/dressing room. It's all pleasantly decorated and pretty roomy.
