BEAUTIFUL MERIMBULA ON THE SAPHIRE COAST with several beautiful beaches to choose from.

Merimbula's Main Beach is across the road and the Lake Beach 100m up the road.
Then there is the Bar beach where you can ride the current, Spencer Park beach with its shallow sand bar, Short Point beach for the serious surfer and Middle beach for the sight see-er.
The Merimbula promise is that you can always find a beach which is sheltered from the wind.
The beaches offer swimming, surfing, prawning and fantastic fishing from the beach, estuary or by boat (in the lake or out in the ocean). Numerous fishing charters are available as well as Dolphin and Whale watching cruises. Dolphins year round, whales usually from August to November. Prawning is popular and fun from November to May (outgoing tide and no moon)




OTHER GREAT ATTRACTIONS

Merimbula's main attraction is the area's natural beauty and unspoilt environment.
The area is surrounded by National Parks with Mimosa to the north and Ben Boyd to the south. Great for the four wheel drive enthusiasts or some nature spotting.

There are 5 Golf Courses within a 30 minute drive.
And Bowling enthusiasta are also well catered for.

Lagoon, lakes and ocean are separated by white sand, and fringed by unspoilt bushland stretching up into the mountains.
Experience Merimbula by air on a scenic joy flight, or enjoy whale watching between September and November.
Other attractions include: Yellow Pinch Nature Park, Magic Mountain, mini golf, fishing charters, boat hire, see kyaking, Go karting, BMX track, cinemas, and many fine restaurants.
The long weekend in June is traditionally a Jazz Festival, enjoyed by many music lovers. November sees the Mambo Merimbula Wave Sailing and Kite Surfing Classic.

Great Location and Family accommodation
Well appointed holiday accommodation with loads of space for family to spread out and relax. The location, opposite the park/beach and near to cafe and bike hire shop was perfect (away from the town centre hustle and bustle but still close enough to walk / ride in). Host is very helpful, communicative and welcoming.

Staying at Rpnaki is always a pleasure, the location is perfect with flat ground for walking and using a wheelchair, is near both the lake and surf beach, but what we appreciate most of all is the roominess and excellent appointments and provisions that go with the unit. Highly recommended.

Very clean and comfortable. Perfect location. If I have any negatives, it would be upstairs tenants noisy throughout the night with hearing the toilet flush at least 4-5 times and could hear walking around throughout the night as well. That would be the only downfall, which wouldn’t put us off staying again.

Three friends families living in Sydney and Melbourne selected Merimbula as a meeting point. We left very satisfied. Stayz exceptional service added much to our satisfaction. Spacious unit with 4 bedrooms. Very clean. Has everything you can only imagine for self-cooking and keeping space clean without big efforts. Big lounges where we can rest and chat. We were delighted with this property and all that it had to offer - clean, spacious, very well-appointed, great location and, most importantly, just across the road from the beach. Peter is very generous with what he provides in terms of comfort and cooking supplies, making our stay an easy and relaxing one.

We have stayed at Ronaki previously so we new what to expect, our first stay was so enjoyable that there was no hesitancy in booking again. Every aspect of the unit suits us, ground floor, well appointed, quiet, good flat walking near the water. Highly recommended for families as the unit is very spacious.

Great location Well set up..everything you need for daily chores. Grandparents in group found lounges too low...updated soft furnishings would add to visual appeal but with the beach across the road not much time spent inside House can take toddler tactics so grandparents can rest easy on the lounges

We were a family of five visiting Merimbula to see another sister. The accommodation was perfect for this reunion with heaps of space, perfect position and a quiet and peaceful space. The trickiest thing was adjusting the water flow in the shower, a minor inconvenience.
