It was our first time to Progresso so weren't sure where we were booking. This hotel is in the quieter area of town and a couple of streets away from the beach (more residential) We walked on the beach early. There was ample parking, pool and sun loungers if you want to stay within the hotel but we didn't get time to use it. You have to pay 250 pesos room key/remote control deposit. We got a choice to stay on the upper level rooms but you still couldn't see the sea. Pros - large clear room with firm comfortable beds, basic clean working bathroom and fridge. There was a coffee making machine but nothing else with it. So I suggest they add at least a couple of cups! Also had air con and TV, table, chairs and spacious balcony. Our main gripe is that fan when it was on sounded like a dying chicken. If we hadn't been so tired and in a rush we'd have changed rooms just because of it. Also the front door handle/key needed replacing. Even the receptionist had a bit of trouble with it. If you want the quieter end of town and a spacious room with balcony this could be for you. If you want to be closer to the hussle and bussle next time we'd go closer to town. I booked this last minute so paid much more than I normally would have done for this quality of place. Overall though, clean, comfortable and close to the beach. It is the more residential less touristy part of town.
