The property was beautiful and peaceful. They take obvious pride in the cleanliness and upkeep of the cabanas. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and handled our language barrier with great patience. Would definitely stay here again.

Not only safe and quiet but kid and dog friendly as well. If you’re not a guest there, you should be. I’m booking another night then going to the beach; which I haven’t seen yet. They treat every guest as VIP. Let loose relax at this gem I promise it’s worth it. World class seafood right across the street. Thanks for the love shown me here

Our one-night stay at the cabanas in Chelem was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The cabana was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor patio, perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation. The beach was a short walk away, offering calm waters and soft sand. It was a great place to unwind and soak up the sun. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing local tips and recommendations. We loved the idea of staying in an authentic Mayan Grass Hut. Great idea with the windows which allowed a nice breeze to flow through as well as the shell for the sink water. I would recommend to others to experience this. The only suggestion I would make is to change what is used to clean the toilets as the odor was overwhelming and not an enjoyable scent. We have been to many places which is the only way to go for a great experience as they are all unique in their own way.

Staff was great, always helpful, friendly, practical, positive. Quiet environnent. Relaxing. Our room was always clean. Inviting outdoor space. Close to beach, walking distance. Food across the road. Chairs for beach on request. We stayed 12 days. A lot to explore close by. It is a cabin style stay. With AC and hot water and very clean pool. It is not a city style hotel so you will not see marbel floors or enclosed rooms. It is for travelers that enjoy simplicity and contact with nature and real people.

I enjoyed staying here. Its quiet and very relaxing. The only suggestions that i would make is to have throw rugs when entering, to help keep the sand from being in the cabana. The staff was friendly and personable

Traveled with kids. The hotel is simple and it only has the basics… but that was the main idea for us: a simple eco friendly place where kids and us could have a simple time. Highly recommend the beach at the end of the road (drive there). Great couple of days, and for city kids, this was a great experience.

This lovely place is rustic, expect cabaña basic. We appreciated everything about it. Do note the water pressure in the shower is minimal and the a/c decorative only - just fine by us. The caretakers are very friendly and helpful. It is walking distance to tienditas, the little pool is perfect, and the incredible beach is just a short trek away. The charming pueblitos of Churburná and Chelem are close for delicious tacos and local food treats.
