"The hotel was excellent with just one exception and that was dinner was not served till 8.30pm which is just far to late. It should start at 7pm. "

"Got a single room at a good price, half what you'd pay in Seville. In a good location opposite the bullring. No noise, despite being on main road. However, the double bed made the room cramped. Bedside table prevented the sock drawer below the wardrobe from opening. Bathroom also cramped. No shelf for toiletries etc. Staff helpful, but told that there was no bus to the bus station and given info on taxi's. Wrong! Bus D stops at rear of hotel and goes right to bus station every half h. Fare 90c."

"It is a small cozy hostal. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. Staff is very friendly. No breakfast, but local business are just a few steps away. Which we enjoyed a lot. Merida is a friendly beautiful city, with a lot of history and art."

"A short walk up the hill from the train station. Once there there, look left and the brightly coloured hotel is looking back at you We had a front room next to the street. This wasn't a problem. Decorated in a Moorish style We stayed two nights. Top effort by the cleaner as the room was spotless Only minor complaint was the sliding door to the bathroom was a bit wobbly. Minor enough to ignore it The staff were friendly It's a good location for a short visit A very enjoyable days in this town. History and a good sociable environment "
