We came from all around: Hawaii, California, Colorado, and France and we truly could not believe the beauty of this chateau. What a stunning way to enjoy quality family time! Christophe was the best host I've ever had. From his communication to his care in your stay, he goes above and beyond. The chateau was...STUNNING. Very comfortable and roomy. We would 100% come back, but now knowing what Kasteliades is capable of we will most likely stay at another one of their locations!

Un super séjour d'une semaine!
Nous avons loué le château de Mercurey pour nous retrouver en famille. Tout s'est très bien passé et nous en sommes ravis. Le château est très agréable et permet à chacun d'avoir son espace privé pour pouvoir télétravailler / étudier / se reposer ou autre. Tout est pratique et facile d'utilisation. Les enfants se sont régalés avec la piscine, le trampoline, les aires de jeux, etc... le seul bémol que nous avons trouvé, s'il faut en donner un, est la taille de la cuisine. Nous adorons nous y retrouver et cuisiner ensemble et elle est petite par rapport au reste! Cela ne nous a pas empêché de très bien manger! Les alentours sont beaux. Pas besoin d'aller de faire des km pour faire une ballade. Le village offre des commerces de proximité pour se dépanner et cerise sur le gâteau, la voisine est vigneronne et son vin est excellent !

Christophe has done a great job creating a magical Burgundy Chateau experience. The property is extremely spacious and well located to local amenities, the pool and BBQ area are great for socialising.

Excellent in every way! A beautiful setting to reunite with old friends!
We were a group of 15 (8 adults and 7 children, ages 8-13) from New Zealand, Switzerland, and the U.S. We wanted a place that offered opportunities for walking, biking, swimming, wine tasting, and ample time to be together and catch up. We were not disappointed! The castle has everything you need and more, and Christophe was very helpful in providing information about the area and what to do during our stay. Ten of us went on the bike tour and highly recommend it as well. We are already talking about returning for our next reunion in a couple of years!

Quand « La Vie de Château » devient réalité !
Etudiants, nous chantions « C’est la Vie de Château pourvu que ça dure ! ». Une semaine dans la résidence Kastéliades c’est forcément trop court, mais en même temps le souvenir de ce très bon moment persistera longtemps dans notre mémoire familiale, tant le bonheur fut grand de nous retrouver dans cet endroit parfait pour les quatre générations qui se sont retrouvées.

A wonderful stay in an amazing place
We had an amazing stay at Mercurey Castle in July. We wanted somewhere special to celebrate my parents Golden Wedding Anniversary and the Castle certainly delivered this in bucket loads. Plenty of space (we were 8 adults and 7 children), very well equipped with everything thought of (even 2 x high chairs for those who needed them!!) and plenty to keep the children and adults amused. We spent most of our time down at the pool which is a great size and has the advantage of a very useful pool room next to it with a fridge, microwave and hob etc. Amazing place and location, cannot recommend it highly enough. AMAZING HOUSE; AMAZING LOCATION FOR WINE LOVERS
My family and friends (there were 12 of us) had the most fantastic time in Mercurey. Castle - the pictures don't do it justice. All rooms were well appointed and modern and there was plenty of room to have our own space but come together for fun and laughter. The children enjoyed the trampoline, fooseball table and of course the pool. The adults - the petanque, pool and of course the wine! You are literally surrounded by vineyards! We had several lovely walks to view points and nearby villages and Florian (ACTIVE TOURS - Bourgogne Evasion) and his bike and wine tour was superb. We highly recommend it. We learned so much about Burgundy and it's wine. He was even helpful in helping us organize a walk to Givry, for a Cremant tour the next day. It was all truly fabulous! We shall definitely be back. Marvelous chateau
We rented this chateau with 11 other friends. It was a perfect place to be together. We went hiking, biking, and of course eating and drinking lovely wine. Afternoons were spent poolside exchanging stores of the day. Christophe hosted an amazing wine tasting experience at his house. We all left saying we would do this again!

amazing views and location
A great location in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. The house was big enough for our family and offered amenities for everyone's taste. The house truly is amazing. We would spend every night by the pool hanging out with the family which was great. Because of the location it allowed us to take day trips to the surrounding cities like Dijon, Chalon-sur-Saone, Beaune, and Lyon. The village of Mercurey was great as well. You can throw a stone and hit a dozen different wineries. The bread shop was amazing. I also liked that there was a post office right in town. I like to write letters so this was very convenient for me.

Wow! Just Wow!
When renting a vacation house from across the ocean, sometimes you get exactly what you expect and sometimes you are surprised. In the case of Chateau de Mercury we were overwhelmed by the entire experience. We were 11 people, all one family, with ages from 13-72 on our annual summer vacation. Upon driving up to the Chateau we were in awe. The pictures did not do it justice. We were greeted by Pascal, the “curator”. I chose that title because he seemed to take great pride in showing us the amenities and fixtures of the estate both inside and out. He took all the time we needed and had to take breaks now and then as we just looked on in wonder at all the sights to behold. The house has been fitted with all of the latest conveniences but at the same time exuded the charm you would expect from such a stately manor. The bathrooms had 5 star finishes and each one was better than the next. From jetted tubs to raised bowl sinks they were expertly designed to meet everyone’s needs. The kitchen was fit for a chef and had everything you could imagine needing though cooking was not what we were looking forward to. The beds were crisp and clean with pillows and mattresses both kids and adults wanted to take home. You can read about all of the amenities online but know this: EVERYTHING was thought of in this Chateau. Extra electrical outlets near the beds, 5 different coffee appliances, pool toys, yard toys, enough dishes for a wedding reception, spices galore and the activities list should be explored and utilized as all of the vendors we utilized were top notch. Kung “There is only One Kung” made our mornings a ritual of perfection. Breads fresh, coffee prepared, kitchen cleaned and table cleared. She does laundry! Use her and book early! Chef Thomas prepared a feast for the ages with wines procured by Christophe. We enjoyed every last morsel and his dessert was amazing! Air Escargot was a highlight for most of us. We rose over the roof of our chateau and watched the sun rise over the hills without a worry in the world. All of those things paled against the private wine experience at Christophe’s chateau just a short drive away. He invited us as a thank you but also offered an upgrade to explore his cellar and taste even more wines. We chose the upgrade and were not disappointed. Don’t spend the rest of your life wondering what you might have missed. Choose this chateau, book early and prepare to be amazed. It’s good to be the King . . . even if only for a week.

What a wonderful vacation!!😄😄
Our stay at Chateau de Mercurey so exceeded our expectations, I don't know where to begin. The serenity of the chateau and area was so obvious the minute we arrived. Every part of the home was so accomodating, meeting our every need. We especially enjoyed the balcony overlooking the vineyards and the village homes... Every morning we would so happily walk to the quaint village for our pastries and baguettes...The children LOVED the trampoline and the pool... Their parents so enjoyed their visits to the local winerys. I could go on and on.... This was the best family vacation we have ever taken. One week was not enough. Christophe was wonderful. We chuckled at his apology for the cool weather - we were so happy to not have to deal with usual August heat! Thank you, Christophe. We so want to come back😃

Chateau qui est beau et elegant.
La plupart de ma famille ont passe une semaine formidable chez Cateau de Mercurey. Nous sommes divers en age, de 6 mois a 78 ans et chacun ont eu exactement ce qu'il leur fallait pour un sejour le plus agreable possible. Chaque detail avait ete prevu et prepare avant de notre arrivee. Le chateau est bien tres bien entretenue et propre. Le proprietaire est charmant, nous a accuelli avec un tres beau bouteille de vin du vigneron 1er cru juste a cote du chateau et avait un tas de conseils pour des choses a faire soit proche soit plus regionelles. Mais le plus important, c'est que ce chateau est absolumment unique. Il est un batiment tres elegant, avec une sense de son histoire et de sa place dans un communaute trompe du vin extraordinaire! et ses vues sont absolumment incomplorables - c'est impossible de les decrire. Absolumment je recommanderais Chateau de Mercurey aux amis et j'ai deja! Nous avons tres bien profite des visites du Magicien Arslonga et du Chef Thomas Lecourbe, qui sont venus au Chateau meme. Chaque soiree etait formidable. Le Marche Gourmand a Chalons etatit superbe, la ville de Beaune nous a tellement plu et nous avons tres bien randonne du village de Mercurey dans un campagne joli, plein de charactere et aussi plein des vignobles ou on faisait la vendange. L'histoire d'une culture de grands vins etait partout dans Mercurey et ses environs - Le Chateau de Mercurey etait inoubliable et comme famille, nous avons eu un sejour inoubliable aussi.
