Very nice place to stay and relax. Well kept property, secluded and quiet, easy access - even with two boats and trailers. Highly recommend this property.
Beautiful place to stay, perfect for us we came to trail ride.
Perfect cabin perfect location and the property manager is a great guy.
Thanks for everything..
Hope to go back next year...
We completely enjoyed our stay at this quiet cabin in the woods. It was clean with all the amenities you would need. The kids enjoyed the kayaks that were available. We were also thankful for the AC as our stay was in August. We would definitely consider staying here again.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the cabin in Mercer. The owners have made it so comfortable and welcoming, It feels like home! The area has so many interesting things to do - hiking, boating, biking and more! I loved riding the Vilas and Iron County bike trails!
The cabin was absolutely perfect! Relaxing atmosphere, the firepit was a huge hit (minus the mosquitos of course). The cabin was clean and well stocked with the necessities we needed. Will highly recommend this place to anyone needing a place to stay.
We did not spend much time in cabin. Four of us were not familiar with keyless entry system. We had hard time entering first time because of lack of instructions Other than that, we enjoyed immensly
Very neat and tidy cabin located just outside Mercer, WI. It was as described and the owner gave us some nice recommendations for dining out. The main living area combined with the kitchen made for a super cozy and inviting place to relax and play some cribbage. Overall, great stay.
Such a cute little place nestled in the north woods! Had everything you could need. Easy to town and onto the UTV trails. Water was hot and seclusion was excellent!
This stay exceeded our expectations. No complaints about anything. This cabin was very clean and well kept and had everything for a "fully furnished" cabin. Looking to book again.
Once again this property does not disappoint. This is our 3rd annual fishing trip up here in the north woods at this property. We have no desire to look else where.
This cabin was the perfect location for enjoying our family reunion on the other side of the lake. I wish we would’ve been able to use the shared water access but we ran out of time. But we hope to return!
We had a great time riding our ATVs directly from this conveniently located cabin to the 100s of miles of trails and into town for supplies. Fall colors were at peak which made the beauty of the woods even better. Cabin was comfortable, just a little smaller than expected. Very quiet neighborhood great for walking our dogs. Thanks for sharing it with us!
The cabin has nice modern amenities. Having a microwave, refrigerator/freezer with a working icemaker, and internet connection made the stay very pleasant. What we most appreciated though was the fact that the host responded to any questions very quickly. We had an issue with a water leak. Bill had the property manager and the plumber there within the hour.
We were surprised at the listing stating that it slept up to six people. For four men the room in the lower level that held two single beds was not enough room for our two guys. We were happy for the couch against the wall on the upper level where one of our guys slept all week
The property was very nice, quiet. The property listing included firewood to be available and it was not. The owner was asked about this and we received “Sorry, a bonfire was held last weekend”.
This house was perfect for what we needed. Our family used to have a house on Spider Lake so this was like going home. The rooms are very small and there is not a ton of space, but it was perfect for what we needed at the time. The beds are comfy, but the one bedroom with twin beds is barely moveable - they are end to end with no walking room so it is not good for 2 adults (kids would have no issue). We walked between the home and our friends place with no issues and the stars were beautiful.
One thing - the kayak landing on the property is difficult to get the boats to and you cannot use the boat landing on Mills Point to get to Spider Lake because this home is not part of the point. So make sure you can carry the kayaks through a bit of terrain (although not overly crazy).
Relaxing and peaceful. Visually beautiful location. The cabin is somewhat lived-in, yet comfortable. Saw a flying squirrel on the bird feeder. Wild turkey and deer came to visit the property. Our dogs were entranced watching the wildlife. Wood burning fires made it cozy. Long walks every day. The TV has DIsh service, so we were able to watch football. We would absolutely consider booking another vacation in the summer so we could take more advantage of outdoor activities. Thank you to the owner for giving those of us without a cabin in the woods the opportunity to experience this.

Quaint yes, quiet no.
This is a well-appointed, well-stocked cabin surrounded by beautiful trees. It looks peaceful. However, there is road noise from both sides, you can hear all the activities and conversations from cabins on the neighboring hillsides and all of the lake noise of boats and parties. The kayaks create the illusion of water access, but there is none within walking distance. Beds were comfortable, but the basement is very dank and 2 of the bedrooms are located there. If you're sensitive to smells, this isn't the place for you. We received communication through VRBO moments after arriving, not to welcome us, but to inform us of an additional pet fee. Went back outside and saw there is a camera over the front door which gave us an awkward and creepy vibe coming and going or using the deck freely. I imagine this cabin is a beautiful winter retreat, we enjoyed the trees and appreciated the bird feeders were all filled. The nearby Winman MTB trails are awesome. The dank basement, noise and feeling of being watched made this cabin a poor fit for us.
