"We've been welcomed by a very friendly, wonderful couple. We could enjoy the living room in the main house and even the library as well. In the morning the huge breakfast was more like a brunch! Our suite (close to the main house) was very comfortable, with both bedrooms upstairs. Bedrooms are pretty big. The second bedroom with 2 single beds is perfect, for example if there are 2 kids. "Their photo is misleading. It looks like a pleasant guest court yard, but is actually storage for bikes, supplies and the back door of the kitchen and bar. Our room was 3 floors above a small bar on a walking street, up very narrow winding stairs usable for only small carry-on luggage. The room was very basic, but clean. "Precious little farmhouse in a village not far from Blois. Marie-Claire and Marie-Claude were both very attentive and gracious hosts. Upkeep of the house could have been a little better but considering it is a 400+ year old house it was quite pleasant. It would be nice if the history of the house was posted somewhere. Would have loved to know how this house was used back in the day. Overall enjoyed our brief stay."
