"Super friendly and helpful staff . Property is a little tired in places . Could do with sound insulation between rooms very noisy plumbing between rooms) and floors! Especially when a function is on! Having said that our room was lovely and clean with heaps of room , very handy for trip into Southampton for the boat show. Lovely breakfast too! "

"Hisoric building crammed with antiques and curios assembled by a previous owner over many years. Creaking staircases and corridors set one in mind of the 1950's. But the bedrooms are clean, modern and well-designed, the staff are super friendly, the pub is a lot of fun to be in, and the breakfast is very good. Plus the cathedral and school are on the doorstep...and free car parking is a boom."

"We were greeted with a friendly welcome by the host whom also offered to carry bags up to our room, greatly appreciated. The room and bathroom had a magnificent view over the harbour and we then realise this is a gem of a place to have a weekend break from it all. That evening we relaxed with a wonderful meal, excellent wine and local music. That night slept exceedingly well in a comfortable bed. Breakfast was beyond expectation and seriously spoilt for choice, although it was busy we did not...

"I read the reviews of this hotel after booking and was a bit apprehensive but this hotel is clearly under new management. Staff so helpful and friendly breakfast was really tasty with fresh locally sources produce and I had the mixed grill in the evening (my go to meal), AMAZING! If I ever visit the IoW again I would happily stay at the Prince of Wales. "
