We enjoyed our time here, it was comfortable and peaceful in a tiny home neighborhood. Close by to hikes. We lost power due to a storm but no fault to the owner.
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we had nothing but good things to say about our stay here. We wanted something smaller, away from town, to have just some rest and relaxation. We got exactly that at our stay here and will happily come back to stay here and bring our pets back to! :)
This little cabin was a such a treat. It was super easy to find. Beautiful property. Nice management. It was such the perfect place to stay for our trip. The only complaint I have is the top bunk was so cramped so we did not even stay up there. But the bunk would be perfect for kids or littles. Also, there is no service whatsoever…needless to say I slept very well every night not being able to use my phone. I highly recommend for your next getaway.
If you haven’t been to Mentone- treat yourself to this treasure. Wonderful small town and the cabin is located in close proximity to many great ( driving distance) attractions such as Desoto State Park. Do yourself a favor and check out Mentone Market - the nicest people around with a great lunch selection and small grocery store. Cabin was clean with the necessary essentials. The gas fire pit and electric fireplace are a nice bonus. At this time there is no WI-FI or satellite TV but there’s a selection of movies or suggest bringing your own or board games etc for the evening. Stewart was great about communication before check in and during the stay - they definitely want to ensure you have a good experience.
There was only minumal cell service. No wiFi or cell internet. No tv. Only a dvd with some old movies. The house is nice but pricey for lack of services and expecting us to do laundry.

Infested!
The cabin was newly bulit but completely and totally infested with roaches! It was disgusting! We couldn't even leave a drink out for 5 mins without a roach getting in it! I left my capped toothbrush out over night and woke up with roaches sitting in the cap. We ended up putting most of our belongings back in the car for fear of bring the roaches home. I brought my 2 dogs with me but due to the overpopulation of feral cats I couldn't let my dogs enjoy the outdoors without the chance of them chasing the cats. I would not recommend this cabin to anyone unless you like feral cats everywhere and sleeping with the fear of roaches crawling all over you. Owner did give me a refund for 1 night due to the fact I refused to stay a second longer. My trip was shortened due to not having anywhere to stay and not being able to sleep a wink the night before heading home.
Lovely area and tiny home. I have replaced knees so a hand hold bar outside of tub would have been great. And a rustic hand rail to porch would be helpful. Other than that. Perfect!!
The Birch Perch tiny cabin was perfect for me and my husband. It was so clean and accommodations were excellent! It was pet friendly which was a must for us. We had a great time and birthday celebration for my husband! Highly recommend!
I was not able to tell from the pics that it was as small as it was. It was crowded with 4 adult women. However, the property was nice and the place was awesome. Better suited for 2 and it would be fantastic.
