Hootin' Henri: A cute, cozy cabin in the woods of Hoot Owl Hollow. Walking distance from Mentone's Log Cabin Village, restaurants, art gallery, and Brow Park. 1.8 miles from DeSoto Falls, 5.9 miles from DeSoto State Park, & 12 miles from Little River Canyon.
Perfect weekend getaway or months long stay!
Each bedroom has ensuite full bath. 1 King Bedroom, 1 Queen Bedroom. Rock patio. Firepit coming soon! If you would like a Weber Charcoal grill, let us know! There is one on property! Laundry Room for guests is located in garage on property.

Nice cabin walking distance to Mentone. Ice maker needs to be fixed and need new outside chairs around the firepit. Also, better instructions for the lockbox that holds the key to the door. We loved it there and had a wonderful experience.

Cozy cabin Mentone.
Very nice property. Owner was easily accessible. Nice get away and within walking distance of Mentone. The beautiful sound of trumpet playing taps each night at dusk.

Cozy Cabin was a delightful place with awesome location. Even though it was close and walkable to town, the cabin felt secluded. My dog Maya liked it too and met a neighbor’s dogs. The interior was cozy indeed!

This cabin was impeccable! We had the most relaxing stay. It is conveniently located to town, shops, restaurants, DeSota Falls, & the Brow. However, it was peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed every minute and hope to return one day soon.

This cute, quaint cabin is exactly as pictured and described. It was very clean, and full of all the extra little commodities to truly make you feel at home. Ms. Juli was very responsive and friendly, and even shared multiple things to do locally the day we arrived. It’s located within walking distance of Mentone, and only minutes drive from endless breathtaking views throughout. We would absolutely stay here again, and highly recommend this cabin for anyone wanting to get away.

Beautiful, Comfortable Cabin in the Woods
Located within easy walking distance of all that Mentone has to offer, this delightful cabin in the woods was the perfect hideout for a relaxing weekend in the mountains. Our stay was lovely from start to finish. The cabin was beautiful and well setup - we had everything we needed and loved returning to "our" peaceful little oasis after a busy day. We really appreciated being able to bring our dogs with us too. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here to our family and friends, and hope that we can visit again soon!

Second time visiting- just as nice as the first time!!
This is the second time I’ve stayed at this cabin. I love how quiet the location is. It’s also really close to the local shops! I finally got to meet Juli’s dogs, too! Dear Abby and I are now best friends. She would come up to the stairs, sit, and stare at the door waiting for me to come out and pet her. ♥️ Overall, I had a great time (again)! I love staying in this cabin because it’s so close, but also very clean, and Juli responds very quickly. And, she has two very friendly dogs!! :) Both times have been great!

Charming Cottage in Mentone
A friend and I planned a trip for a weekend at Vintage Pickin in nearby Ft. Payne and to take the opportunity to explore Mentone. We had a wonderful weekend! The cottage is charming. Very clean, the beds were comfy and it was decorated so tastefully. It made us feel right at home. Azaleas and rhododendrons were in bloom and the backyard was full of birds making their Spring migration. We also enjoyed meeting the owners very sweet dogs. Highly recommend and I hope we can book the cottage again next year.
