"This house was perfect for a group with multiple families, with each room having its own bathroom. Also, lounge and kitchen areas were sizeable. Excellent kitchen facilities and ample cutlery and crockery as well as 2 dishwashers - made a huge difference not having to worry about running out of anything. "This is an historic and beautiful property, and ideal for a family group. The swimming pool is excellent and very secure. "The property met our needs, but there were some things that could have been better. On the upside, because we had young children along, the pool was a bonus. The donkeys, goats, chickens, and roosters were enchanting. On the downside, if someone wants to be close to the surrounding cities (Tours/Amboise) with pubs and restaurants, this is not the place. Also, the place needs some TLC and a good scrubbing."

"A spacious base with a large garden that is not overlooked. Shade available in the garden and a choice of seating areas. The weather was hot when we were staying but we were able to close shutters and sleep in the downstairs bedroom which made it cool enough. Well equipped kitchen and very good oven and hob.
