"The hostess did what she could to fix the issues, but the listing should be made more accurate. It is actually a shared apartment with other renters. The private part is only 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. You can also use a common area that has a table, but it is shared with others staying there. The checkout is actually 10am, not 2pm as listed and a person entered our rooms at 10:30 to start cleaning. The breakfast included is at a train station that you need to drive to but without parking. "This is a real medieval castle! You travel in time when staying at Giomici. The hosts are a wonderful team, excellent communication and service. The room was comfortable and super-clean. We stayed once for the supper, it was tasty and reasonably priced. The breakfast was plenty and fresh. The locally produced coffee was a nice surprise."

"Ho soggiornato dal 26/8/15 al 29/8/15 con la mia famiglia. Ci siamo trovati benissimo! La struttura è in posizione tranquilla ma comunque vicinissima ad Assisi, l'appartamento pulito e confortevole e il Signor Marcello è un padrone di casa simpatico e disponibile. Le mie figlie hanno usufruito della piscina a tutte le ore. Lo consiglio sicuramente."

"The staff was amazing! The people in this area are so nice and made us feel welcomed and really made our stay better than expected. The facility was nice but it is remote so make sure you are prepared to relax and enjoy nature."

"The hotel is located in a beautiful original old monastery with excellent rooms. The staff is very friendly and professional. The surrounding space is very nice and there is large swimming pool, a must during hot summer days. Dinning is on a very high level, food is excellent and the meals are provided all day. We will definitely come back again in the future. I can sincerely recommend this facility to everyone seeking quiet, peaceful holliday in a beautiful authentic setting in Umbria. "
