"We had an amazing time in Doucier. It's a wonderfully tranquil area, perfect for a peaceful and rejuvenating vacation. The property was exactly as described; upon our arrival, everything was clean and just like in the pictures. The porch is a real plus, especially during the summer! On a less positive note, the beds are not the most comfortable, and if you plan on cooking, bring your kitchen utensils as there is only the bare minimum provided, which was a bit challenging for us as we love to...

"Fijn huis met voldoende slaapplaatsen. Uitzicht is fantastisch en ligging bij waterval van Herrisson is ideaal. Voor een huis waar 9 mensen kunnen slapen is echter 1 badkamer ontoereikend. Daarnaast was er op veranda na 15:00 geen schaduw en was er af en toe een rioollucht en petroleumlucht te ruiken"

"Great experience. The chalet is very new and well furbished. Very comfortable, quiet and with an outdoor area to relax.The location is great, close to the Herisson cascades and with many opportunities for hikes and shorter walks. You will need a car though, as the first supermarket is about 10 km away from the chalet.We planned out shopping together with our trips in the area, which worked perfectly well. A place to go back to again and again."

"The chalet is on the edge of a small village. It’s very peaceful with lovely views of the mountains. The property was very well equipped and the hosts had thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. As the weather was hot we enjoyed using the sun-loungers and the electric bbq. We appreciated the air conditioning. The was a nice walk to the nearby lake and 2 places to eat in the village. There are no shops so make sure you buy provisions in advance"

"The hosts, Flo and Caro, were most welcoming and helpful. The rental is an entire floor in their renovated farmhouse - separate from the family's living space. It was so comfortable, so well-equipped. The village is small and rural, but very close to the larger town of Salins-le-Bains. The scenery is spectacular. Many local hiking trails nearby. We stayed for almost four weeks. It was very healing. We would definitely book again."
