"First the POSITIVE: Beautiful home with an incredible view. Lots of space, wonderful furnishings. Local managers are responsive and helpful when we asked about pool temperature (too cold to use most days), beach towels (locked up and unavailable), bike condition (broken and un usable). Note the listing also indicates a clothes dryer is available - but is is not functional. The NEGATIVE: "Musty, stale smell" (from the basement presumably) so penetrates the house that the smell is always present....

"This is a stunning property with the most amazing views. My only reservation is that it has no air conditioning nor bug screens on the patio doors. The villa is surrounded by countryside greenery and therefore there are quite a lot of flies as a result. We found that if we left the doors open to try to stay cool, we were giving them a free invitation. To make the property just perfect in every way, either air con or screens would do the trick as it’s a beautiful spot."

"We enjoyed the country atmosphere with the beauty of the surrounding area. We chose this location for a one month stay to be able to do day trips all around the Silver Coast. It worked out very well. Nazaré is a short 7 minute drive. The apartment is attached to a home but we had total privacy and space for our car."

"This was our second stay at this villa and still adored it. Had some new members of the family this time around so was very grateful for the fenced in pool and the play area full of toys upstairs! This place has absolutely everything any member of the family could need (and more) all in a peaceful private setting with local amenities and tourist spots just a quick drive away. "We have just had a magical holiday at the Quinta da Princesa Barbara. The whole family was there to celebrate my parents’ 80th birthdays and it was perfect. The house is stunning and extremely well appointed. It has everything you could possibly need. We had so much fun in the pool and wonderful evenings on the outdoor terrace eating the amazing barbecues we cooked. I cannot recommend the Quinta enough. We absolutely loved it! Raymond and Maria were so helpful and the bedrooms were all so...
