There for NCAA men’s basketball
The location was very convenient, though not quite walking distance to stadium and Beal Street. The condo was roomy and had most everything needed. A couple of minor problems of no batteries in the tv remotes and no ice cube tray and ice maker not working. Most upsetting though was the lack of cleanliness. It has been a while since any deep cleaning had been done. The double full glass front doors were so dirty one could not see out them. The microwave was dirty inside and out. I cleaned before using. The outside of the refrigerator was filthy. I cleaned it. The dishwasher was dirty on the outside also, plus the bottom of the inside was filthy and stunk. We did not use the dishwasher, except to load a few dirty dishes in the early morning we left. The stove and everything above and around it was greasy and smeared from being wiped. Just not clean at all. The mirror frame around the headboard of the bed in the master bedroom was all filmy and had lots of fingerprints and smudges. Additionally, the dryer vent hose was not connected to the pipe venting to the outside, so the lint and heat was being put into washer/dryer closet. All in all, very much looked like a unit owned by an absentee owner, not one that is around and paying attention to details such as cleanliness and good maintenance.

Quirky and cute
The condo is extremely accessible to downtown Memphis, which was a big factor in why we booked it. We wanted to be able to walk everywhere (and with the help of the trolley system, we could). The beds were comfy and bathrooms were great. We felt safe in the building and we liked the decor. There were a few things that we felt were not very clean, notably the dishes in the cupboards and some of the throw pillows on the beds. The floors slid and pinched our feet a few times due to ill-fitted laminate. We wanted to use the TV in the main living space and had a very hard time with the soundbar and remotes. Eventually (after trying all the remote batteries in the house) we downloaded a firestick remote to use a smartphone and we used subtitles on the screen because the sound was so low while we watched a movie on MAX. Later we used the same tv for watching Apple TV and the soundbar worked great. Not sure why it wouldn't cooperate w Max. Just a note more than a criticism: Every surface is covered with breakable knickknacks. Some still have tags on them from tjmaxx. We had difficulty finding counter space to put our own belongings because every table and counter was already occupied with pretty items. The beds need bedside tables for boring stuff like cpap machines and phone plugs. The bathroom needs a place to put our products and lotions. Visitors with small kids will absolutely feels like they are at grandma's house with all of the breakable items everywhere. They are cute tho
