"Lovely spacious well-heated house in beautiful countryside. We had a week of snowy weather which was heavenly. Edward, the owner was extremely helpful. He towed out some cars which got stuck in the car park by the house, provided lots of logs, replaced the washing machine which had problems and was generally a great help. This is a house for people who like old books and furnishings...don't go there if you want modern posh."

The issue was the agent company who are managing the property - they failed to update the details on the heating contribution costs, send us any info about how to check-in or pass on the owners details or the owners request for our bank details to return the deposit. "
