"Probably my fault but I didn't realize deposit had to be in cash. So had to scramble to find ATM to get $300. Then checking out they doubled the cleaning fee on us. They didn't provide toilet paper or dish soap and had to go to the store to buy some. Would have been nice to know there was no toilet paper before going to the bathroom."

"We spent two nights at the gites with a group of 20. We don't speak French, but we wanted to see Mont Saint Michel. The manager didn't speak English, so we had a communication problem from the beginning. "This property has it all: great location right near a cute village, a view of Mont St. Michel, 12 mins to the center of a lovely small city for good dining options and practicalities (Avranches), generally great amenities, wonderful heated pool. The host was super sweet and communicative. The only suggestion for improvement would be for the owner to invest in some portable fans as, with climate change, things can get quite warm even at night. This is a highly recommended property!"
