The Mermaid Jungle House W/Private "Heated" Pool

Welcome to the Mermaid Jungle House. We got the inspiration because when you walk out the back door leading to your very own in ground heated swimming pool, you literally feel like your in a jungle by all of the surrounding palms and exotic plants, not to mention the misc. mermaid motif uniquely placed all around.

This house is located in an private gated community. This property has 3 generously sized bedrooms and 2 full sized bathrooms. There is a full sized kitchen and dining room with place settings for up to 8 ppl that overlooks the living room and den area.

Beyond the doors leading to the backyard, you will find yourself in your own little oasis. There is seating on the patio that overlooks the quaint in ground heated swimming pool with waterfall. There's something very serene about listening to the nature and the water flowing through the waterfall.

Some other great things to know, there are a lot of great options for the beach, restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, etc. This house is conveniently located just a couple miles from I95 which leads you to a multitude of fun things. The Beach is approx 7 miles east. The Melbourne Mall is within a few miles along with The Brevard Zoo, Camp Holly Airboats, Andretti thrill park and so much more. Orlando Airport (MCO) is approx 50 miles. Disney World 70 miles away. The Melbourne airport (MLB) is approx 2 miles away. All the best golf courses are just a few miles away. I can't forget to mention Kennedy Space Center or Cape Canaveral.

Also note Rocket Launches are a pretty cool experience to see up close in personal, but if you don't feel like making that 40 min drive to Kennedy or Space X you will be able to see most Rockets flying through the air from my driveway.

Nice Home, Conveniently Located

The house was great for our trip. We were in that area for a baseball tournament at Space Coast Stadium. The stadium, beach, restaurants, shopping were all easily accessible from the house. I highly recommend this home.

We were there for a baseball tournament. Quick access from the property to the highway. No matter the time of day, the trip to and from the park was on 15 minutes. The pool made cooling off easy after a long day of multiple games.

Excellent Florida Getaway

We traveled to Florida from Indiana for spring break. We absolutely loved staying in the Mermaid Jungle House!! It has everything you could need and more! The decor is on point and the coziness is perfection! The pool is fantastic! Shelly was the perfect hostess and made certain we were very comfortable! I highly recommend this home! We will be back!!

Three night stay for us

We had a bit of a rough start, batteries in front door lock were dead, thankfully we entered through garage. Upon entering both smoke alarms were beeping from bead batteries. So we went to Publix, bought batteries and fixed issue. The house was clean comfy and pool lovely. The back fence is rotten and falling over. The kitchen was well equipped, and things like Publix were nearby.,

Family vacation

House was as described, very well stocked with everything needed. The weather was cool, we werent able to use the heated pool as much as we'd have liked. Had the weather cooperated, it would have been great for the kids entertainment. It is a very convenient location, close to everything we needed. Host was very responsive to any questions we had.

Sweet House in a Wonderful Neighborhood

We stayed at the Mermaid Jungle for an extended weekend. We had a wonderful time and pleasant stay. The house had everything that we needed for our stay and Shelly was awesome! The response time to our questions was practically immediate. The house was located in a safe, gated neighborhood and the neighbors were so kind! We would definitely stay here again if travels ever brought us back to Melbourne. Shelly, you were amazing and thank you so much for everything!

Lovely house and host!

Came for a short weekend to visit family and celebrate birthdays! The Mermaid Jungle house was the prefect spot! The house was spacious and decorated in super cute mermaid/coastal theme! The beds were all very comfortable! We all enjoyed the pool and outdoor “jungle” the whole time. Shelly, our host, was very quick and responsive to issue with the air unit and had it fixed within the hour! We will definitely stay again when traveling to see family! Thanks for the fantastic stay!!

The House was absolutely beautiful and well thought out. Everything you could possibly need or expect from a VRBO. The owner had exceptional communication and even messaged when a storm rolled through to inquire on our safety as well as needs. The owner immediately had the pool recleaned the very next morning after it received some debris from the storm. Exceptional service we would definitely recommend.

The Shipley’s Stay

It was such a cozy little home! The only thing I would suggest is mowing before the guests arrive. I was just a little worried with the snakes! The volume on the TVs wouldn’t work which that could have just been us! The pool was having a little trouble staying on but overall was a great home!

Quant and comfortable stat

Tucked into a quiet gated community the private fenced backyard and pool were perfect for our family. It was a record cold December, but the kids still braved the pool. Inside was beautiful and the minimal issues were responded to promptly. Anything you might need was readily available, they really thought of everything. Even a shower chair available! I would highly recommend staying here!! Only suggestion is that while the listing clearly says 3 bedroom 2 bath, the individual bed sizes break down to make it appear as a 4 bedroom. It is a 3 bedroom with one king, one queen and then a bunk bed with a full on bottom and twin on top.

Beautiful family vacation

It was rainy and cool all week when we stayed, so we didn't really use the pool, but it was November and it's Florida.... it didn't matter. The house is well stocked with everything needed. It has a very nice beach theme decor. We really enjoyed our stay.

Inside was nice

The inside of the property was very nice and well kept. The outside needs some love and care. It is very overgrown with weeds. Pool is on the small side and needs some upkeep.
